So, i know its been a while since my last blog, but I've been working hard on my nature magazine front cover, and its finally done! I thought i was ready to blog it a few weeks ago, but then decided i could have done it better *sigh*, so now its up to standard and I'm pretty happy with it!
I went through a wide (and tiring) choice of 70 pictures! narrowed it down to my two favourites, and then decided on an up close picture of an autumn leaf...although a little out of focus, i thought it captured the essence of nature much more. Once my choice was made, it took several attempts at trying to create the perfect image, as i wanted the leaf to stand out the most. On my final attempt, i made the background of the image black and white and left the leaf in its natural colours (that i chose to enhance by contrasting the colours to make them brighter). I used Edwardian Script as my main font, as i felt it gave it a more traditional look. And so, here's the final product! enjoy!
